Pulled out a Nasogastric (NG) tube from a patient today. Wonder how it feels…

NG tube is for feeding purposes in instances where a person has difficulty in swallowing (dysphagia). Eg: People with stroke or dementia.

Insertion of NG tube (via nose –> esophagus –> stomach)  can be a traumatic experience for a person. :(
